Curious about the best app to use for loading/reading PDFs that are stored in my computer.

From the page at TakeControl.com: Unfortunately, neither Google's YouTube app, the Google+ app, nor just loading this page in Safari seems to work for viewing the presentation live. However, there is no problem watching it after the fact.

It's a bummer about iPads, but hopefully it will work in the future.

Just getting a spinning gear...no video or sound yet.

Works well on iPad using Google Chrome.

I hope at some point you can list some apps that are best for particular purposes.

Reloading brings up a Play button, click, spinning gear appears. Do not see any link to YouTube either.

Steve, there are several lists coming in version 1.1 of the season ticket. That PDF will be available later today (or Friday morning).

We're not getting a picture

A builder did some work for us recently. He loved his iPhone because it replaced several tools for him, and took photos of the jobs.

Sally et al, I believe the Brydge keyboard will allow for use of the arrow keys (in certain circumstances), though I can't confirm at the moment, their FAQ seems to be broken at the moment. thebrydge.com

Is there a way to forward delete? How about forward/backward arrow cursor thingy instead of having to touch the screen to insert the cursor?

Remember, we'll be releasing a new version of your season ticket later today (or Friday). The new version will list product names and have links for all the products that Joe discusses. So, don't worry about taking a lot of notes yourself.

Joan: depends on the app. Some add arrow keys and other niceties to the virtual keyboard. The standard virtual keyboard doesn't have them, though.

Joe looks great on my ATV big screen TV. Adam looks great too!

To be sure, Take Control ebooks are format-intensive. If you're writing white papers and such documents, Pages for iOS is more than adequate.

Will managing apps/organization on the ipad be covered sometime? I have too many "pages" of apps and too many categories..

And I'm still confused about transferring between the iPad and iTunes on the Mac.

Sam, Do you mean you are wondering about putting docs from Microsoft apps into iCloud? Or "the cloud" in general?

Please check out CloudOn for EDITING and saving MS documents and spreadsheets. It is great and works with DropBox seamlessly.

Do you have a favorite notetaking + text recognition app? (like writepad or phat pad, etc)

Tom. Use Spotlight on the iPad for locating apps. It's the screen to the left of the first home screen. It will find your apps. If you have an iPad 3 or 4 or iPad mini, you can also launch apps with Siri: "Open the Evernote app" for example.

Learning to say No to an app is good. Delete.yep.

I haven't tried in iTunes 11, but I like to search in iTunes on my computer. That way, you can find out which "folder". Connect your iPad, select it, look in the Apps pane. There's a search field there.

I use an over lay "KB Covers" on the mac pro: text is bold with better visibility. just a FYI for older eyes.
