In today’s Friday report, Joe discusses our recent Pi Day sale, a new book (or maybe more than one?) coming out next week, and early glimmers of hope as we approach the beginning of spring.
Sunday is the start of Daylight Saving Time (boo!) but also Pi Day (yay, because pie). To celebrate, we’re having a 31.4% off sale, which runs through Monday.
Although Joe had a busy and stressful week, and progress on various projects occurred, there’s nothing to report right now of interest to Take Control customers.
We released an updated book this week on the Mac command line, as well as a couple of smaller security-related updates. Noses remain in contact with grindstones.
Book updates are slowly working their way through the writing, editing, production, and publication process. But oh, there are So. Many. Of. Them. Your continued patience is greatly appreciated.
We released an important book on Mac security by Glenn Fleishman this week, as well as a quarterly update to our DEVONthink book. As for the many other updates that need to happen…grindstone, meet nose.
We made progress on two books that should be released next week, and Joe fielded a bunch of email messages from impatient customers, thus slowing down work on the things they’re impatient for.
We updated two books this week (on Calendar and Reminders, and Apple Mail), and slowly but surely we’re working our way through a long backlog. February is looking like a very promising month!
We had a pretty boring week, but for once, that’s a good thing! While keeping an eye on the news, we made progress on new and updated books that will start appearing next week.
This week marked our first release of 2021: a new edition of Take Control of Pages. Slowly but surely, more progress is occurring. We also learned some interesting things about ebooks in MOBI format.
