This week we updated another of my own books: Take Control of the Mac Command Line with Terminal, now at version 3.2. The book has been updated to cover all the changes in Monterey that affect the command line, and it adds a couple of useful command-line “recipes.” If you’ve ever wanted to get your Unix geek on and learn your way around the command line, this is the book for you.
I continue to work my way through the long list of my books needing updates. Meanwhile, I’ve been haranguing our other authors to get cracking on their own updates, or at the very least set my (and thereby your) expectations correctly as to when (or if) they will occur. We’ll see how that works out.
This is the start of the kids’ spring “break,” which means “push the parents to the breaking point.” Productivity may suffer, but we’ll do the best we can.
