Take Control Affiliate Program

Lots of people recommend Take Control ebooks to their friends and colleagues, and if you find yourself doing that for a larger audience, we'd like to invite you to join the Take Control Affiliate Program, from which you can earn an affiliate referral fee of 30% of each order placed through your Web site or with your affiliate code.

Signing up for the Take Control Affiliate Program is easy; just follow these steps:

1. Go to https://affiliates.esellerate.net/affiliates/home.aspx and click the Sign Up For Free button.
2. Once you're signed up and logged in, click the Available Products tab, enter "Take Control" in the search field, and click the Search button. eSellerate will display a bunch of Take Control ebooks.
3. Click the More Info link (or the little cart icon) to view the Product Detail page for the ebook.
4. Click the Sell All Products button to display the Request Approval screen, which sends us mail asking for approval to sell our ebooks. Please add a message explaining a bit of who you are—we approve almost everyone as long as they have a real Web site and don't appear to be doing anything dodgy.
5. Wait for us to approve the request; it should take no more than a day, just like any other email message we get.
6. Once you're approved, all our ebooks will show up in your My Products tab, and clicking any one of them will give you the links you need to put Buy It Now buttons on your Web site for any individual book. However, if you don't want to use eSellerate's graphics or maintain your own Web site, you're welcome to copy our ebook graphics and link into our site. The only trick is that you must use a special URL format. For example, to link to Ted Landau's ebook about the iPhone, you'd use this URL: http://www.takecontrolbooks.com/iphone?aff=YourAffiliateID (YourAffiliateID is AFL and some numbers; you can find it on the My Account tab.) In other words, just find the URL for any of our ebooks, copy it, and append ?aff=YourAffiliateID to it. Our site will automatically pass the affiliate ID through to eSellerate so you'll get credit for the sales.
